This Giving Tuesday, we are turning our hearts and our focus toward an urgent and growing need in our community: food insecurity. As the holiday season arrives—a time that should be filled with warmth, comfort, and togetherness—too many of our neighbors are struggling to meet even their most basic needs.

At LVTRise, we believe that access to food is a fundamental right, not a privilege. No parent should have to worry about how they’ll feed their children. No individual should have to choose between paying a bill and eating a meal. And no family in our community should ever go hungry.

That’s why we’ve launched the LVTRise Food Drive, an effort that has already begun making a tremendous difference. Thanks to the generosity of so many, donations (food and monetary) have been coming in—and our team has been able to provide families with hearty, thoughtful food packages that bring both nourishment and hope.

But the demand is rising quickly, and the need doesn’t slow down when the holidays pass. To ensure that every family or individual who turns to LVTRise has access to the food they need, we must keep this momentum going.

Your Giving Tuesday gift—no matter the size—directly strengthens our ability to keep shelves stocked, prepare full meal bags, and offer immediate relief to families who are counting on us. Monetary donations are especially critical right now, as they allow us to fill gaps, purchase high-need items, and respond rapidly to urgent situations.
