Julia's Center for Healthcare is a 501(c)(3) agency that opened it's doors to the working poor and uninsured adult residents of Plano and Collin County in 2016. The availability of Healthcare for adults in Collin County is limited and in many cases unaffordable. In addition, most available resources operate primarily during regular business hours 5 days a week which makes care for the working residents either very difficult or inaccessible. Julia's Center is a free service and opens in the evening when transportation and availability is less of a problem. The Center is staffed 100% by volunteer providers and had nearly 1500 patient visits in 2024. In 2025, the demand continues to increase, and as a result we have welcomed 100 new patients. Because Collin County has no County hospital, uninsured low income residents don't have affordable access to healthcare. As a result, when they become ill they may be unable to support their families. Julia's Center is a solution for our patients.
