Hopeful Solutions is a non-profit organization that helps single mothers in Dallas by providing a home and holistic support services needed to sustain sobriety, gain financial stability, and maintain self-sufficient living with their children.

67% of the women who participate in our program services have remained sober for more than 2 years and increased their financial status by 50%. 82% who have graduated from our program and transitioned to independent living have remained drug and alcohol free for more than 4 years while maintaining financial stability for their families. The mothers are Dallas area women 21 years and older who have been diagnosed with substance use disorder and have children in their custody. The mothers are seeking housing assistance and long-term recovery support so that they can have a fresh start in life with their children. Primarily our referrals are from local community agencies such as Child Protective Services, substance abuse treatment facilities, and Dallas County Specialty courts that address offenses related to substance use disorder. Hopeful Solutions is one of the few places the mothers can go to receive independent transitional housing and peer recovery supportive services while living with their children.

The core of our program services address the mental health needs associated with substance use disorder. Our primary focus is on peer recovery support and financial empowerment with the objective that the mothers' sustain their sobriety and be able to provide a stable and nurturing environment for their children. Hopeful Solutions provides transitional housing, rental assistance, direct living assistance, peer recovery support, parenting resources, financial management, career/educational development and social bonding and therapeutic activities for both the mothers and their children.
