Healing Shepherd Clinic is a vital ministry committed to restoring health, dignity, and hope to individuals experiencing homelessness offering education, preventive care, and medical treatment in a climate of compassion and respect.

For people without stable housing, daily life is a battle against harsh weather, poor nutrition, lack of sanitation, and constant health risks. Many suffer from untreated chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and mental illness, simply because they have no access to consistent, affordable healthcare. Too often, an emergency room becomes their only option, even for issues that could be easily managed through regular primary care.

That’s where Healing Shepherd Clinic steps in.

Located on-site at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County (UGM-TC), the clinic fills a critical gap, providing accessible, high-quality medical care to those who need it most. Our team treats a wide range of illnesses common within the homeless population, including pulmonary conditions, liver and kidney disease, skin infections, high blood pressure, and more.

This life-changing work is made possible through the dedication of volunteer physicians, a full-time nurse practitioner, a team of full-time and part-time registered nurses, and compassionate medical assistants. Together, they offer holistic care that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit; ensuring that each patient is seen, heard, and valued.

Your support helps us continue to meet urgent medical needs while restoring hope and dignity to every person who walks through our doors. With your generosity, we can expand our impact, reach more lives, and continue to be a beacon of healing in our community.
