At PGA of America, we believe being a good corporate citizen is about engaging and empowering our employees to give back and make an impact in the communities where they live, work and play.
As the PGA of America now calls Frisco, Texas "home," we are committed to engaging with the North Texas community and to provide clear pathways to our programming as well as career and business opportunities. We have engaged with a variety of diverse partner organizations.
The PGA Cares Employee Volunteer Program is an initiative established by the PGA of America in July 2021 with the aim of making a positive impact on local communities through volunteer and service work. The program encourages PGA of America employees to utilize their skills, expertise and resources to support charitable causes and make a difference in the lives of others.
One of the key aspects of the program is its commitment to inclusivity. PGA Cares strives to create a welcoming and accessible environment for all individuals, regardless of their background, age, gender, sexual orientation or physical abilities. It also recognizes the power of diversity and seeks to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute, get involved and demonstrates the PGA's dedication to making a lasting impact beyond the golf course.
In August the 2nd annual PGA Cares Company-Wide Give Back Day activated employee volunteers to make a difference in North Texas, Florida and New York.
