DCB Serves:

DCB Serves was launched, as part of the bank's 10th anniversary celebrations, to encourage Team Members to support the causes and organizations important to them. As part of this initiative, DCB is excited to once again participate by matching team member donations up to $100! Choose the organization (or organizations) you want to support and DCB will match your donation to this organization(s) dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $100.

To qualify for the match, you must use the DCB page on the North Texas Giving Day website to make your donation.

And, if 50% of employees make any donation and our total donation amount exceeds $10,000, the entire bank will get a pizza lunch party to celebrate!

The Impact of NTX Giving Day to our Clients & Friends:

Minnie's Food Pantry

Donations of ALL Amounts Make a Difference

No donation is too small! Even $1 makes a difference. Minnie's Food Pantry can provide 3 meals to a family in need for $1.

It takes more than food to fight hunger.  We believe overall wellness begins with food and health education.  Our ultimate goal is to provide programs that help families obtain long-term food security and become self-sufficient.

Family Compass

Family Compass CEO Ona Foster says “North Texas Giving Day is a celebration for us. We celebrate over 54,000 parents and children served in our 30-year history and continued community support to reach many more. The prevention of child abuse and neglect is lifechanging work. Our staff are there every step of the way, with accredited and evidence-based curricula, to guide clients in overcoming barriers to becoming healthy families and empowering them with life skills.”

  • Bilingual staff are represented in all of Family Compass’ programs and initiatives. Services are free of cost and voluntary to participate in.
  • The CDC estimates that it costs society an astonishing $831,000 per child abuse case to address over the lifetime of a child that experiences it. As such, Family Compass saved the community $496 million dollars last year alone by keeping 597 children out of the overburdened CPS system, and most importantly preventing the trauma of child abuse.

Grant Halliburton Foundation

Grant Halliburton Foundation was established in 2006 in memory of Grant Halliburton, a Dallas teen who battled depression and bipolar disorder for several years before his suicide death at the age of 19. The Foundation that bears his name works to help families and young people recognize the signs of mental illness through a variety of avenues including mental health education, collaboration, encouragement, and information.

Since 2006, Grant Halliburton Foundation has provided mental health education, training, and support to more than 250,000 students, educators, parents, and professionals.

Grant Halliburton Foundation seeks ongoing support for its mental health and suicide prevention programs focused on children, teens, young adults, and adults who live or work with youth.
