Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas

A nonprofit organization

For more than 110 years, Girl Scouts has empowered girls of all races, ethnicities and socio-economic statuses, with safe relationships, skills, tools and resources so they may stand strong and tackle whatever challenges they may face. Girls Scouts provides the social and emotional support along with social interactions, mental wellness and academic supplements, especially in STEM, that girls can't get anywhere else. Girls need Girl Scouts now more than ever.

In 2022, Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas served over 19,000 girls in our community and gave them the access to leadership building programming, mental health resources, outdoor education and STEM that they needed to thrive not only today but well into their futures.

When girls join Girl Scouts, we know:

  • 94% of girls know they can be good at many different things.
  • 72% of girls say they are a happier person because of Girl Scouts.
  • 89% of girls feel like they belong.
  • 90% of girls obtain new skills.
  • 81% feel like they are a part of something bigger than themselves.
