The GFWAR Educational Foundation was founded in 2018 as a way for its Realtor® and Affiliate members to give back to the community by supporting students in the greater Fort Worth area. Since they began awarding scholarships in 2020, the Foundation has helped 16 students with their educational pursuits. The scholarship program is supported by GFWAR members who make donations at events throughout the year and through participation in North Texas Giving Day.

The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® (GFWAR) Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that assists worthwhile student applicants who are applying for or are currently attending an accredited college, university, technical, or vocational school full-time. Scholarship awards are based on financial need, character of the applicant, academic and extra-curricular achievements, and the applicant essay.
