On September 8, 2023, Garland Civic Theater opens its 56th season as the premiere organization providing year-round live theater programming in Garland, TX. 

Founded in 1968, we are the oldest community theatre group in Dallas County.

We hope to continue our traditions of collaborating with the greater North Texas Performing Arts Community and providing a broad spectrum of opportunities for local artists and audiences for many more generations to come.

Garland Civic Theatre provides high quality theatre and performing arts programing curated to entertain, educate, and enrich the lives of the citizens of Garland and our neighboring communities.

Needs

Our Season 56 Priorities:

-- Hire a resident Technical Assistant to coordinate production, design, and technical crew season to season

-- Increase Community Outreach, Publicity and Marketing efforts

-- Increase Educational and Youth programming

-- Upgrade production technology and tools

-- Offset increased production costs resulting from ongoing global building supply chain issues
