Three years ago, Fort Worth STEAM Academy was an idea shared with families, educators, community leaders, and supporters who believed Fort Worth students deserved an excellent public middle school option.

You showed up.

You shared our story.
You encouraged us.
You invested in our vision.

Together, we turned an idea into a school.

Today, Fort Worth STEAM Academy is officially open. Our founding sixth-grade students are learning in classrooms, building new traditions, and shaping the culture of a school created alongside the community it serves.

Our students are doing more than attending a new school. They are helping build one.

Each day, they engage in rigorous STEAM-focused academics, receive individualized learning and support, and contribute to a safe, structured, and joyful school community where every student is known, challenged, and supported.

Opening our doors was a major milestone—but it was only the beginning.

Why First-Year Support Matters

Fort Worth STEAM Academy is beginning with one founding grade level and will grow each year as new classes of students join our school.

As we scale, public funding will grow alongside our enrollment. In our first year, however, community support allows us to begin offering the enriching experiences and traditions we want our students to enjoy for years to come.

After-School Enrichment

• Robotics, esports, coding, arts, athletics, and other clubs that allow students to discover new interests, develop skills, and build strong relationships beyond the regular school day.

Field Trips and Career Exploration

• Educational field trips, college visits, guest speakers, and other opportunities that connect classroom learning to the world beyond school.

Every contribution gives our school the flexibility to respond to student interests, expand access to meaningful opportunities, and invest in the experiences that will define our founding year.

Thanks to a generous supporter, donations will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $1,500.

A $25 gift becomes $50.
A $50 gift becomes $100.
A $100 gift becomes $200.

When our community contributes the first $1,500, the matching gift will bring us all the way to our $3,000 goal.
