Forward Training Center's mission is to educate, support, and inspire life changing growth in men and women.

Our organization's core values successfully provide diversity, equity, inclusion and prevent injustice.
Our youth programs start at an early age (15 to18yrs) and serve both GISD Stars Accelerated classes and Premier High School. These high school age students are excited about new opportunities and are ready to step into entry level jobs, which is an asset to local businesses. The youth are also extremely open to learning trades and creating entrepreneurships.
Our adult classes are for ages 18 and up and begin with a career assessment to ascertain an individual’s natural skill sets and association with his or her talents. Our goal is to develop a road map for each student to assist them in determining and obtaining their ideal job. Volunteer instructors and mentors support students every step of the way by listening and creating an environment of trust that instills a sense of value and confidence for future employment.
Our enrollment continues to grow for all classes including Jobs for Life, Powered for Life, Computer Training, ESL, HSE, CISCO, CAD, and Business Builder Workshops. All classes are at no cost to the students and operated 97% by volunteers. Forward Training Center’s successes have been featured in the Hood County News.
With the growth of our programs our need for materials and technical support have grown tremendously. We are on the right path at the right time to meet the ongoing needs of businesses and trades by supplying them with trained and dedicated workers to fill vacant positions.
In closing, Forward Training Center programming needs donations to enable current and future growth. Additionally, volunteers are needed to provide instruction in all classes.
