Our mission is to provide food, shelter and support services to Collin County families with children as they regain stability and independence. Our program includes extensive case management, budget counseling, shelter services, program housing, car program and after care.
While not an emergency shelter, Family Promise will assist families with children dealing with homelessness. The goal is to bring stability back to the family, establish a savings and move them back into their own housing. 95% of the families will have a job when leaving the program. For some families, they may need a longer time to stabilize. If a program house is available, they may be able to stay for an extended time to help them reach their goals. Once the families graduate they are able to stay connected and receive limited assistance through the after care program-Live Well.
