Fairhill is a private, non-profit, college preparatory school serving students in grades 2 through 12. Fairhill's primary purpose is to provide a superior education for students of average and above intelligence who have been diagnosed with a learning difference such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Auditory Processing Disorder, or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Fairhill students possess the intellectual potential to succeed academically, often at superior levels. However, because of a learning difference, these students have frequently experienced frustration in traditional school environments. The result is that their past academic performance does not reflect their potential.

Our Story…
We discovered Fairhill about three years ago and we are so grateful we did. From the moment we toured the school, we knew it was different and special. The atmosphere felt so warm and inviting, and the administration was kind and understanding of our children’s unique needs.
Before Fairhill, Natalie, Zachary, and Daniel all had their own unique challenges that hindered them from reaching their full potential in school, and we have been amazed and thankful to watch them develop newfound skills and confidence that has translated into all aspects of life. Natalie has discovered a talent and passion for photography, art, and leadership. We watched her go from struggling to find her place to having a solid group of supportive friends. The warm and accepting environment at Fairhill and the attentiveness of his teachers allowed Zachary to step out of his comfort zone and discover his passion and talent for acting in the Theater program. For the first time in his academic career, homework was no longer an area of struggle for him, and he not only has excelled academically, but has the confidence and skills he needs to be successful in college. Daniel participated in athletics and numerous other activities- all in an environment that was accepting and designed to help him develop his self-esteem and the executive function skills he needs to become the best version of himself, on and off the field.
We believe our decision to send our children to Fairhill is the best thing we can do to help prepare them for college and provide them with skills they will use for a lifetime. The teachers, administration, and other families we have met all play an important role in making each child at Fairhill find their value and reach their full potential. Seeing the growth and success of all three of our children has reinforced our belief in Fairhill’s mission and approach. In fact, our experience has been so positive that we are enrolling another child for the upcoming school year.
This year, we are excited to help make an even greater impact. To encourage others to support Fairhill, our family has committed a $10,000 matching gift for North Texas Giving Day. Every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000
