Opening Ceremony

Together with the leadership of Communities Foundation of Texas, mayors from the Dallas Fort Worth region, and local ambassadors, we will officially open North Texas Giving Day season, kicking off the first day of scheduled giving for the nation's largest online giving event.

 

 

Mission Arlington
12-3pm

Help provide emergency assistance, food, hygiene items, furniture, household items and clothing to families in financial need in Arlington with Mission Arlington by helping sort donated food, clothing and supplies.

Rockwall Philanthroparty

Date: Saturday, September 15, 2018
Time: 8:00am - 12:00pm 
Location: San Jacinto Plaza  (S San Jacinto Street, Rockwall, Texas 75087

Over 20 local Rockwall Area nonprofits will be on San Jacinto Plaza from 8 am until 1 pm on Sat., Sept. 15th and have a shared NTXGD donation station booth at the Aspasians Fair all day.

Come down to the Rockwall square and learn more about all these wonderful organizations and how YOU can be a part of #RockwallGives!

North Texas Giving Day is an online giving event for people across the nation to come together to raise as much money as possible for North Texas nonprofits on one day!

Rockwall, Texas is having an event Downtown on San Jacinto Plaza with many family fun activities such as giant yard games, live music, balloon artists, furry friends and lots of prizes! Bringing the community together will allow local Rockwall Area nonprofits to have a platform to educate and share their organization's mission with the public. There will be over 20 Rockwall nonprofit agency booths and donation stations.

Dallas Donation Station: Family Festival

Location: NorthPark Center (8687 N Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas 75225) 

North Texas Giving Day is coming to NorthPark Center!

On Sunday, September 16th, come and spend the day at NorthPark and meet some of the incredible nonprofits from across North Texas.  All ages can participate in interactive activities, watch live performances, and help make a stronger and more vibrant community for all.

Diaper Drive benefiting Hope Supply Company at NorthPark Center

National Diaper Need Awareness Week is the week after giving day, join in the movement and help Hope Supply Company with their "1 Million More Diaper Drive" and help them collect 1 million diapers by the end of 2018.

Join us for an evening on the historic Denton Courthouse Lawn. Attendees can enjoy live music, entertainment from the Denton nonprofit community, comments from city officials, and special activities for children. Join us in historic McKinney at beautiful FINCH Park for this free family event to meet and greet over 70 Collin County nonprofits participating in North Texas Giving Day.  You will learn more about the great work they do and how you can help by making a donation or signing up to volunteer.

You will enjoy live music and performances, food trucks, children's games, emergency responder displays, lots of animals like mini ponies, lamas, goats, dogs and more!  The event is hosted by Volunteer McKinney with generous support from the McKinney Community Development Corporation, Independent Bank and the Communities Foundation of Texas.

Farmstead Yoga

The Heritage Farmstead Museum and the Junior League of Collin County are joining forces on the Nation's largest community giving day to host Farmstead Yoga. "The feel of the breeze, the sounds of the chickens, goats, sheep, donkey and pigs as well as the hum of the tractor passing by will bring a smile and sense of well-being. We believe it should be an experience that leaves you rejuvenated, relaxed and of course filled with a sense of generosity," said Kathy Strobel Director of Marketing and Development for the Farmstead. With hopes of raising even more money and elevating awareness of North Texas Giving Day, the Heritage Farmstead Museum and Junior League of Collin County are teaming up to host Plano's donation station. Local non-profits have been invited to host a booth. Each will share their mission and encourage the community to give. There will be local nonprofits information booths located all over our 4-acre historic site. Gates will open at 6:00 pm. The event will feature FREE Farmstead YOGA from 6:30 - 7:30.  After class visitors can enjoy tacos from Hub Streat & take pictures with the farmstead animals. Entertainment will include music, food, healthy beverages and wagon rides. The event is free and open to the public from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Klyde Warren Park Donation Station

Location: Klyde Warren Park (2012 Woodall Rodgers Fwy, Dallas, TX 75201) 

Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation will host an outdoor concert at Klyde Warren Park, which will double as an official North Texas Giving Day Donation Station. Join the fun from 7:00pm to 10:00pm for live music presented by the O's and Booker T Washington, food trucks and more!

Arlington Gives! Concert: 
Date: Thursday, September 20, 2018

Location: Levitt Pavilion (100 W. Abram Street, Arlington, Texas 76010) 

The Arlington Gives! Concert and Donation Station hosted by Arlington Tomorrow Foundation will be at Levitt Pavilion (100 W Abram St, Arlington, TX) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., featuring a musical performance by Jimmie Vaughan. It will include information booths staffed by Arlington nonprofits, food trucks and other activities.
