$35,000 Goal

For 80 years, Dallas Bethlehem Center (DBC) has been providing a sense of hope and self-worth for the families of South Dallas through programs and resources that support the dignity of our neighbors. Despite the recent growth and prosperity realized in the greater city, the residents of South Dallas continue to live in a virtual food desert with the some of the highest poverty rates and lowest life expectancy. DBC has responded by re-focusing its efforts to combat food insecurity through a variety of programs including, our client-choice food pantry, which provides fresh produce and proteins, our twice weekly family night hot meals dinners, summer cooking classes, community garden and more. These programs help our families stretch their household budgets in these difficult times of rising food prices and federal cutbacks in food assistance.  Help us uphold the dignity of our neighbors in South Dallas by contributing to DBC today.

As an example of how your giving can make a tangible difference—

$50 can provide an assorted package of proteins for a child for one month

$250 can provide a box of produce and proteins for a family of 4 for one month

$500 can provide a hot meal for up to 75 individuals
