Taking its name from the Latin word meaning 'I believe,' Credo is a 115-singer mixed chorus based in Dallas, Texas. Founded and conducted by Dr. Jonathan Palant, Credo's mission is rooted not only in the power of music, but also in community, learning, equality, and in sharing one's fortunes with those less fortunate. Credo, now beginning its eighth season, has performed throughout Dallas and has undertaken concert tours to Australia, Cambodia, Cuba, Iceland, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Morocco, Portugal, and Vietnam. In June 2017, Credo traveled to New York City and Washington D.C. performing in both Carnegie Hall and the National Cathedral. The 2021-2022 season marks the 10th for Credo and plans are underway for a celebratory year ahead culminating with a concert tour to Ireland.
CREDO'S MISSION IS ROOTED NOT ONLY IN THE POWER OF MUSIC, BUT ALSO IN COMMUNITY, LEARNING, EQUALITY, AND IN SHARING ONE'S FORTUNES WITH OTHERS.
