THE FIVE POINT NATIONAL PROGRAM
Continental Societies, Incorporated uses HEER + Arts and Humanities (Health, Education, Employment, Recreation and Arts & Humanities) as the framework for developing programs.
Each chapter surveys, investigates, and reports the needs and problems of children and youth in their area. Under the Continental Societies umbrella, hundreds of projects have been implemented. Health projects range from health fairs and substance abuse prevention programs to asthma awareness programs. Educational projects include African American Read-In sponsorship, tutoring programs and scholarship awards. Career workshops and job placement programs are components of the employment program. Recreational programs emphasize physical, individual and spectator activities for all students including handicapped children. Cultural enrichment is provided in the arts and humanities program.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
The Continental Societies Inc. is very proud to offer scholarships to deserving students. The Dallas Chapter offers three scholarships:
A four year general scholarship for students entering a four-year college program on a local, regional, and national scholarships. These scholarships are renewable for up to
four years as long as the student maintains his/her GPA.

The Charlie Mae Warbington Technical Scholarship, named for a charter member and long-time educator, is awarded to students who choose fields of study, that are specialized such as culinary, medical assistant or other technical programs lasting less than four years.

The Paul Quinn Scholarship is awarded each year to an incoming freshman attending Paul Quinn College. This scholarship was established by the Dallas chapter in 2013 to help support students at this local college.

Our Needs

Our current organization's needs are new books for children age 1-15.
School supplies are needed.

Funding for STEM programs
Coats and Jackets for the winter months
