169 million impressions of our students' winning songs via 81 radio stations; 138 million households reached with students' winning Constitution-themed PSA's; 60,000 moviegoers viewing students' winning short films via 78 film festival acceptances; over 151 million views of students' winning works and Constituting America produced media via 5 social media platforms; over 675 speeches to schools & events, to over 48,300 students and adults: these statistics are the tip of the iceberg of the impact of our programs.

Our annual contest for students, kindergarten to graduate school, encourages America's youth to create original works (songs, essays, speeches, short films, PSAs, STEM projects, marketing plans) about the relevance of the U.S. Constitution. Since 2010, we have awarded scholarships and educational trips (from Washington D.C. to Hollywood) for the winning students, where they meet with professional mentors in their field and constitutional scholars.

Constituting America provides winning students with the opportunity to star in our annually produced documentaries and clips, re-record their winning songs, and film music videos. Constituting America hires experts and firms to promote the winning works nationally on television and radio and in movie theaters, newspapers, and magazines. We seek to not only educate but propel the careers of America's rising generation.

Our speaking initiative serves public schools, private schools, charter schools, and after-school programs all across America, empowering students to learn about the Constitution and the importance of being civically engaged at a young age. Reaching over 48,300 adults and students, Constituting America's speaking team reaches all grades at schools across the nation, from Quincy, Massachusetts to Phoenix, Arizona. DFW Schools: Carter High School, Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy, Torah Day School, Grapevine Faith, W.T. White, Naaman Forrest HS and many more!

In these interactive presentations, Constituting America takes a unique approach. Instead of teaching at students, our presentation engages students in discussion of how they hold a vital role in government and can participate, even at a young age. PSAs, songs, and clips of our winning scholarship recipients are included in the presentation. This year we have added a Civil Civic Conversation presentation as well!

Our 90-day annual forums are an educational resource for adults including essays from college professors and scholars across America.

Our Needs

Constituting America relies on the generosity of individual donors, foundations and corporations to fully fund our programs.

Mission

We utilize the popular culture to educate, engage & empower America's students about the U.S. Constitution. Our programs include a contest for kids, school speaking program, online studies w/Constitutional Scholars & Patriot Clubs. We are the only organization that utilizes the movies, music & television with the kids' own works, to inspire Americans of all ages to learn about the U.S. Constitution by distributing their works through the national media.

Equity Statement

Constituting America recognizes the right of every person, regardless of race, creed, or gender, to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As an organization, our mission has always been to reverse the trend of civic apathy in our society; as such, Constituting America encourages all Americans to engage in efforts to bring about change through the effective use of the individual liberties and rights granted to them by our common Creator and guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, put forth in the United States Constitution. Freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to assemble peaceably, and the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances are at the core of our American civilization and, in the history of humankind, made this nation exceptional. We must all come together and seek common ground upon which to build a country where equal justice under law is available to everyone, everywhere, and without question.
