$10,000 Goal

The Connemara Conservancy was founded in 1981 by Frances Williams and her daughter, Amy Monier, as one the first land trusts in Texas.

For more than three decades, Connemara has been at the forefront of land conservation and environmental education in Texas.

Students, families and organizations from across North Texas visit our nature preserve each year to participate in our restoration and environmental education programs.

Our Needs

Connemara has numerous volunteer opportunities in the areas of land conservation, native grass restoration, fundraising, outreach, environmental education and other areas. We are a volunteer organization and accept donations and grants of any size to cover operating expenses and funding for our various conservation and educational programs.

Mission

Connemara offers daily public access to our 72-acre Meadow Nature Preserve for nature walks, conservation education projects or to simply enjoy the natural, unspoiled wonders of nature.

We work with state and national organizations to restore native grasses and create pollinator habitats and are committed to educating current and future generations on the important role that open space plays in improving our quality of life.

Needs

Volunteers and funding for restoring the meadow, educational events, Bobwhite Quail conservation, maintenance of trails, outreach, and more!
