Two teens. Two medical journeys. One need: Children's Health

Alexis and Camille live hundreds of miles away from each other, yet their families each chose Children's Health℠ because they wanted the best care for their teenage daughters — care that would give them access to advanced treatments and clinical trials on the cutting edge of pediatric medicine.

Alexis faced treatment for leukemia – twice – and is still recovering from a life-saving bone marrow transplant donated by her younger brother. And Camille is finding new ways to thrive while living with type 1 diabetes.

Two teens. Two medical journeys. One need: Children's Health — the only pediatric hospital in the region with the depth of experience and breadth of specialties to undertake the most complex clinical care. You and our generous community play a critical role in making sure that we are always ready with the right care, for every child, no matter their medical need.

Why Children's Health

Better care for children who need it. Groundbreaking research. More community resources for kids’ mental health. Through the ups and downs of the past few years, we have remained focused on these important goals, and with the help of people like you, we reached new heights and overcame obstacles.

And that’s because for more than a century, Children’s Health has been steadfastly devoted to one mission: making life better for children.

As one of the largest and most well-respected pediatric health care providers in the country and the leading not-for-profit pediatric health care system in North Texas, Children’s Health cares for children through more than 919,535 patient visits annually. The Children’s Health system includes Children’s Medical Center Dallas, Children’s Medical Center Plano, the Children’s Health Care Network, specialty centers, rehabilitation facilities and physician services.

When you choose Children's Health, your time and money go to giving kids the best experience, the best care and ultimately the best fighting chance to get back to being a kid again.
