The Carroll Education Foundation believes that a great education begins and ends with great teachers. Funding teachers is the most tangible way we, as a community, can support not only our amazing teachers but all Dragon students as well.
Your tax-deductible gift to CEF goes directly to fund teachers in 3 ways:
End-of-Year Appreciation Gift: A financial gift given to EVERY classroom teacher, including Librarians, CARE, ESL, and SPED teachers at the end of the school year. In 2025, each teacher received a $1,600 gift! This financial gift is not in lieu of raises or support from the district, but an additional way we, as the community, can support our teachers.
Teachers of the Year: Each campus Teacher of the Year receives a $1,000 cash award, plus the two district-wide teachers of the year receive a $5,000 cash award.
Teacher Scholarships: Scholarships for Teachers and Paraprofessionals who are going back to school to further their education at an accredited university.
If every CISD family donated a minimum of $1 a day, we could gift ALL teachers $2,500 at the end of the year!! Imagine how impactful that would be for our Dragon teachers!!
