Carol's Promise Sickle Cell Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Carol's Promise was founded in my heart in 2005 when my mother (Carol) passed away from complication of Sickle Cell Disease. However, it was officially founded in 2017 and since then we have hit the ground running with our advocacy.

Sickle Cell Summit- a panel of healthcare professionals get to learn about Sickle Cell and hear directly from warriors in an open forum.
We provide back packs with all the essential items for kids at Cook Children's Hospital going to Camp Jubilee.
School Supply Drive
Blood Drives
Christmas party catered solely to Sickle Cell warriors. The kids get to have 2-3 toys, entertainment, crafts & food.
Carol Cares Program - we take care packages to warriors currently in the hospital, pray and support them
Carol University - Medical, nursing, and pharmacy students are in a classroom session learning everything Sickle Cell Disease and Sickle Cell Trait related
Quarterly Support Group Meetings
