Cancer Support Community North Texas

Since 2002 Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT) has provided a welcoming place where women, men, and children living with cancer, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers can join others for emotional and social support - FREE OF CHARGE.

At our three comfortable clubhouses in Dallas, Tarrant, and Collin counties, everyone impacted by cancer can learn to live with cancer, and hopefully beyond it, by engaging in our FREE multifaceted programs. Each clubhouse provides support through five core programs: 

1. Support Services - support and networking groups, individual counseling and bereavement support for adults and children (all support groups are facilitated by Master's level licensed mental health professionals), 
2. Healthy Lifestyles - health and wellness programs, 
3. Education - presentations by experts in their field, 
4. Resources & Referrals - connecting members to other services in the community, 
5. Social Connections - fun social events for all ages.

We continue to provide our digital programming while safely returning to in-person services to help ensure no one faces cancer alone. Caring for the whole person and family is an essential part of quality cancer care and that all people affected by cancer should have access to psychosocial care during active treatment and survivorship. 

Our Needs

After more than 9 million missed cancer screenings during the pandemic, data shows that screenings across the U.S. and DFW are trending towards pre-pandemic levels.  Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT) is the leading social and emotional cancer support nonprofit in DFW and has seen a simultaneous increase in new patient orientations and a desire for in-person programming.

Imagine the fear and need for support you have after receiving a cancer diagnosis - that's what CSCNT provides.  This increased demand also points to the need to expand our reach even further into the greater DFW area and North Texas.  100% of your support remains in our community and will allow us to continue to expand to meet the need facing us. 

These funds ensure that every program offered by CSCNT is provided FREE of cost to ANYONE impacted by cancer in our North Texas community so that no one faces cancer alone.
