$25,000 Goal

Bruce Wood Dance reaches approximately 40,000 people per year through dance performances, free community events, low-cost dance workshops and master classes, and free restorative dance outreach classes. Our free dance outreach classes are offered to social service nonprofits giving shelter and care to men, women, and children facing difficult life situations.

Annually, we provide approximately 600 complimentary performance tickets to our partner social service organizations benefiting veterans, the Girl Scouts, at-risk youth, and people of all ages working through addiction, illness, domestic abuse, and mental health challenges. Your generous contribution will assist us in providing some of the many benefits of dance to those in need in our North Texas community.

Our Needs

Bruce Wood Dance needs to raise $25,000.00 this North Texas Giving Day! We have moved full-steam ahead into our 2023-2024 season with performances in Dallas and Fort Worth, TX; New York City; Palm Desert, California; and St. George, Utah.

We are committed to contributing to the artistic and economic health of North Texas and to raising awareness of the world-class dance created right here in our hometown.

BWD features top-quality choreography, performed by first-rate dance artists. We serve our community with emotionally engaging programming that entertains, enriches, and heals.

Along with our company of 14 dancers, BWD employs five full-time artistic and administrative staff. We also commission local performers and choreographers and hire local photographers, videographers, stage crew, and more. Each of these individuals are vital components of our region's artistic and economic ecosystem.

Your generous support to BWD on North Texas Giving Day will help fund our 2023-2024 season. You can rest assured that your contribution will preserve dancer and staff employment, the legacy of Bruce Wood, and the future of Bruce Wood Dance.
