Brittany Rescue in Texas, Inc. (BRIT) is a lifeline for Brittanys in need, relying solely on adoption fees and generous donations to sustain our mission. Since 2010, BRIT has placed over 996 Brittanys in loving homes — but our work is far from over.
Meet "Niah"
Last month, 10-year-old Niah arrived at BRIT as an owner surrender, needing a full dental, senior bloodwork, thyroid testing, and more...over $1,500 in vetting!!! The good news is she's healthy, she's recovered, and thanks to her foster mom's patience, she's now ready for her forever home. :) Niah is exactly why our Emergency Medical Care Fund matters.
Our Urgent Needs
This year, BRIT is building a $25,000 Emergency Medical Care Fund so we never have to turn away a Brittany in crisis — whether that's a dog like Niah needing senior care, or a Brittany arriving wounded, neglected, or heartworm-positive. Adoption fees alone don't cover it.

Mission
Brittany Rescue in Texas, Inc. (BRIT) is an all volunteer, 501c3 (non-profit) organization comprised of individuals who share a deep love of the breed and are committed to the rescue of Brittanys in need in the Great State of Texas.
Needs
Adoption fees do not cover emergency situations (e.g., wounded or abused Brittanys) nor do they cover heartworm or other advanced treatments required. This is why your donations are so incredibly vital to our work!
All BRIT Brittanys are thoroughly examined by our awesome vets to ensure they are current on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, fecal tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given plenty of love!
ALL your donations go toward the rescue and treatment of the Brittanys in our care.
Equity Statement
Since July 2010, we have placed 970+ Brittanys in loving homes.
