While many nonprofits have closed their office and stay at home, Bed Start remains serving community 7 days a week. As an essential service to the economically disadvantaged (County wording) and needy groups & individuals (State & Homeland Security wording), it is essential for our neighbors to get housed, up off the floor, maintaining a household they can stay at home at, with good health; body, mind and soul.
People to serve community, under sound health, safety and social distancing measures. Gently used donations of beds, dressers, kitchenettes. 100% financial support goes to those in need with NO paid staff, No building expense and no overhead costs (100% volunteer based).
The highly unique Bed Start ministry goes beyond existing charities, nonprofit organizations, and collection sites to partner with any and all in poverty, crisis, or need, requiring furnishings and other household items.
