ARO piloted proof-of concept beginning in 2013. Since then, we have served 2000 students, built 7 large site-specific art glass projects with students and worked with 17 nonprofit partners. ARO earned 501c(3) credentials in September 2017.
"Thanks so much again for the amazing experience with which our students were able to participate! You definitely captured the essence of our conversation when you stated that the STEAM camp you all did with our rising 7th graders connected so many lessons (science, engineering, math, art) from the class room to real life in a hands on, creative and collaborative environment. In addition, I heard reactions from students such as "this was the best camp EVER!" My staff and I are also looking forward to the possibility of us taking part in two groups as part of our back to school team building activity. It's safe to say that Rangel students AND staff were "blown away" (pun intended) by your magnificent gift that you so generously share. We look forward to a continued relationship." Lisa P.
