An average of 91 cents of every dollar we spend goes directly to care and comfort for people in need — delivered by a workforce that is 90% volunteer, your friends and coworkers here in North Texas.

$11 — a hot meal, a snack and a warm drink for someone who has just lost everything
$50 — a full day of food and shelter for one person: three meals, a cot, two blankets and a comfort kit
$200 — a full day of food and shelter for a family of four
$360 — puts an Emergency Response Vehicle on the road for a day, delivering meals and supplies street by street
$735 — a complete local disaster response: a response vehicle, two trained volunteers, and immediate assistance for one family
$1,800 — deploys a trained volunteer to a disaster operation for a full 12-day assignment
$5,000 — funds a Sound the Alarm event, installing roughly 200 smoke alarms in homes across North Texas
$10,700 — opens a shelter for one night, sheltering up to 150 people
