Stand in the Gap

"Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." —Inspired by Disney's Lilo & Stitch

At Agape Resource & Assistance Center, we believe every family deserves a safe place to call home, a community that believes in them, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

This North Texas Giving Day, we're asking you to Stand in the Gap for mothers and children overcoming homelessness, domestic violence, trauma, and crisis.

Together, we can ensure no family is left behind.

Why Lilo & Stitch?

Each year, Agape chooses a pop culture heroine whose story reflects the families we serve. This year, we were inspired by Lilo & Stitch because its message is one we live every day: family means showing up for one another.

Like Lilo, many of the mothers and children who come to Agape have experienced unimaginable loss and hardship. Like Stitch, they discover that healing begins when someone believes they belong. That is what Agape does.

For 13 years, we've walked alongside families as they rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and the support of a community that refuses to let them face life's challenges alone.
