2023 Campaign Focus

Abigail's Arms' focus will be to enhance our ability to help clients with their transportation needs. Whether it is getting children to school or helping a parent get to a job interview, we want to be a resource they can count on. Our current transportation is a 2000 Chrysler van that has been well loved. We are seeking to raise funding to purchase a new vehicle that safely transports our families for many years.

24-Hours Emergency Shelter/ Residential Services

Our shelter is a warm and welcoming environment, for individuals and families. We have 10 dorm-style rooms, with a shared kitchen, living and play areas. Clients are supported and encouraged to move forward to become stably housed and self-sufficient. Case management, counseling and educational opportunities are available to each client free of charge.

Child Advocacy Center (CAC)

The Child Advocacy Center is committed to the well-being of children living in our communities. Our mission is to provide a place where justice and healing can begin through interagency cooperation and community education. Family advocacy, counseling, life-skills training and educational opportunities are available to each client free of charge.

Crime Victim Advocacy Services (Non-Residential)

We provide support and healing to victims of crime through one-to-one assistance with accompaniment and advocacy through the legal system and Crime Victims Compensation. Case management, counseling, and educational opportunities are available to each client free of charge.

Sexual Assault Interagency Forensic Team (SAIF)

Provides a coordinated, multi-disciplinary and victim-centered first response to victims of sexual assault. Our Responder Advocates provide support and information to the victim to help make informed decisions about their care and provide them the opportunity to begin the healing process.

Community Advocacy & Prevention Education (CAPE)

We seek to build up youth through group engagement, individual support and leadership programs in the many school districts in the county. We aim to offer a variety of curriculums that cover healthy and unhealthy relationships, bullying, body safety, boundaries, etc. We encourage youth to be agents of change within their own relationships, which in return changes their schools and communities.
