Women, men and children come to The Women’s Center having experienced significant problems born out of violence, crisis and poverty. But The Women’s Center is not about tragedy. It is a place of hope, opportunity and growth.

It is a place where:

  • Survivors overcome the trauma of sexual assault, child sexual abuse and other devastating violence
  • Families confront crisis, triumph in the face of overwhelming obstacles and transform their lives to create a better future.
  • People learn new skills and find jobs to become financially stable and build better futures

It is a place where we are building a community of strong and empowered women and families.

Mission

Inspiring and empowering women, men and children to overcome violence, crisis and poverty.
