SWF is a grassroots organization that was established in 2020 by a team of licensed, private investigators and victim advocates who saw the great need to fight sex trafficking (with a focus on child sex trafficking) in North & East Texas.  We are unique in that we are 'boots on the ground', working in the field for and alongside local law enforcement.  SWF currently operates in all counties in North & East Texas.  Our team is comprised of a group of private investigators led by our founder, the Director of Investigative Intelligence, and a diverse group of victim advocates from a variety of professional backgrounds: the travel and hospitality industries, cybersecurity, engineering, education, real estate, law enforcement, and banking/accounting fields.

During the first two years after SWF was established, we focused on building relationships with all levels of law enforcement and forming the Northeast Texas Alliance Against Trafficking (NETAAT).  We founded the NETAAT coalition to bring like-minded individuals, organizations, law enforcement and the community together to fight the atrocities of sex trafficking.

Even though our primary focus is providing investigative intelligence to law enforcement, SWF also raises awareness about sex trafficking to the public.  We provide prevention education to our communities through presentations to schools, churches/youth groups, community organizations and law enforcement.  Our goal is for our North and East Texas communities to gain a better understanding of the realities of sex trafficking in order to prevent it and know how to report any suspicious activity.  It has also been proven that awareness brings potential victims to services.  Through our NETAAT coalition, we've created a program for victims to reach out to us and we can connect them with the necessary resources needed for medical/mental assistance, shelter, food/clothing, counseling, education, employment, etc.

Our Needs

Our most urgent need is the funding of our new Investigative Intelligence Toolkit.  This software toolkit harnesses data and intelligence providing actionable intel for our licensed, professional, private investigators.  This robust system provides a significant reduction in manpower hours, but most importantly, it also gathers usable, perpetrator-specific intel on child sex traffickers 75% faster than via normal channels.  We are actively seeking donations to fund for 12 months of access to this program ($60,000), which also includes training and support.  With funding, we will be able to utilize technology that accelerates the tracking process of child sex trafficking perpetrators and victims in our Texas communities.  Your generous donation will go directly towards assisting law enforcement and safeguarding our communities - resulting in assistance to victims.

We are also seeking $40,000+ to help fund our standard Private Investigation needs: surveillance and research hours plus equipment.  $40,000 = 800 hours of professional, private investigative work that assists law enforcement.

Mission

We work to combat sex trafficking, with a focus on child sex trafficking, by equipping the public through prevention education, providing investigative intelligence to assist all levels of law enforcement and facilitating restoration for survivors through advocacy and networked services.
