Mission Chepito

Mission Chepito is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization. Founded in 2015 and legalized in May 2017. The Main office is in Frisco, Texas.
Our mission is to bring life through Jesus Christ through love,
education, nutrition, and well-being by serving Tayahua Zac, Mexico, a small town where severe poverty affects all residents. Many of the children cannot read at their appropriate grade level. Many children are at risk of drug abuse and human trafficking due to a lack of resources and help. These issues are an enormous challenge for the families, who struggle every day to provide for their needs, like finding reliable work, food, and education. Mission Chepito is the only nonprofit organization in the village that exists; our focus is on meeting the critical needs of the children and residents. Our goal is to slow down the continual cycle of poverty.

Mission Chepito Provides a Community Learning House of 3,200 sq feet. The house is the heartbeat of Tayahua and a cornerstone for education, nutrition, and spiritual growth.

In the after-school program, we currently have 15 students. We ensure children are safe, active, and thriving by teaching and tutoring core classes like math and reading, hands-on art, and education activities, offering spiritual support, and mentoring. The program also provides school supplies with a snack or light dinner. We believe that life is much more complicated without spiritual growth and education that there is no foundation to plant the roots.

Our Needs

Mission Chepito seeks volunteers, a bookkeeper, and a social media. Volunteering time will provide more financial support to the mission to assist the underserved people of Tayahua, Mexico, transforming their lives, one person at a time.
