Mayberry Memorial

A nonprofit organization

Because most patients do not know they have Lynch Syndrome, diagnostic tests such as genetic testing and colonoscopies help patients identify the presence of the Lynch gene. Unfortunately, most insurance does not cover testing like this unless there is a pre-existing condition. Project Conquer is a scholarship program which provides financial support for patients in need of colonoscopies, genetic counseling, and genetic testing. Since 2011 we have raised over $80,000 through other initiatives in the fight against Lynch syndrome cancers. Project Conquer is a new initiative this year to address the financial burden patients feel when they undergo these tests. Please help us reach our goal of $5,000 in 2021 so we can help patients with diagnostic testing.

Mission

To promote awareness and research for Lynch syndrome, which is a genetic condition that puts people at a higher risk of certain types of aggressive cancer.
