🩷 About Mammogram Poster Girls

Saving lives, one mammogram at a time.

Mammogram Poster Girls (MPG) provides free mammograms and breast cancer diagnostics to underinsured and uninsured women in the southern sector of Dallas, where breast cancer outcomes are statistically worse due to delayed access to care.

🔴 Women of color in southern Dallas County are 1.4x more likely to receive a late-stage diagnosis
🔴 And 1.2x more likely to die from breast cancer than elsewhere in Dallas County(Source: Komen Report)

Early detection is the difference between life and loss. Since our founding, MPG has funded over 2,000 free mammograms and diagnostic procedures for women across North Texas.

We’re on a mission to close the care gap and your support makes it possible.

💡 Our Signature Program: Two-Fer Tuesday

Launched during the pandemic in 2020, Two-Fer Tuesday helps address two critical needs:

  1. Access to life-saving mammograms

  2. Economic support for minority- and women-owned businesses (MWOBs)

Held on the first Tuesday of each month, this program is a partnership between MPG, Methodist Health System, and local MWOB restaurants. Every patient served receives:

✅ A free screening mammogram via the Methodist Mobile Mammography Unit
✅ A gift card or meal from a locally owned MWOB restaurant

This program is always fully booked and always well-received.
We are currently seeking funding to continue Two-Fer Tuesday through 2025.

🙌 How You Can Help

Your donation provides:

  • Screening mammograms for women without access

  • Support for local MWOB-owned restaurants

  • Outreach to reach more women who need care

Together, we can save lives, support small businesses, and ensure that early detection is within reach for every woman in our community.

🩷 Donate today and be part of the impact.

Mission

To raise awareness of and funds for the early detection of breast cancer and mammograms for those in need. The Mammogram Poster Girls provide mammograms, free of charge for under and uninsured patients throughout N. Texas.

Needs

We are seeking funding to continue our Two-Fer Tuesday program through 2025.

Each month, Two-Fer Tuesday provides:

- A free mammogram for underinsured and uninsured women

- A gift card or meal from a locally owned MWOB restaurant

- Outreach and education to help women access timely care

Every event is fully booked, and the demand is growing. Your donation directly funds mammograms, supports local businesses, and helps save lives.

Equity Statement

The Mammogram Poster Girls condemn racism in all forms and recognize the deep structural inequities that disproportionately impact communities of color, especially in healthcare.

Since day one, our mission has centered on providing free mammograms and diagnostics to women who are underinsured or uninsured, with a focused commitment to women of color in medically underserved areas of Dallas. We believe that where you live should not determine if you live.

We are actively listening, learning, and working to become better equipped to address these disparities head-on. Healthcare access is a foundational pillar of social justice, and we are more motivated than ever to confront the systems that fuel health inequity.

Until true equity is achieved, we remain here, focused, committed, and standing with the communities we serve.
