As we begin another school year, it’s exciting to reflect on the success of past NTGD drives, which have played a significant role in expanding Kramer’s focus on STEAM, the IB curriculum, and the overall growth of our student body. At Kramer, we are committed to fostering respect and appreciation for all cultures, while equipping students with the resources they need to thrive in a 21st-century world. Through our IB curriculum and Spanish immersion programs, we are preparing our students to change the world.
This year, Kramer Elementary is eager to support STEAM enrichment opportunities, both on and off-campus, into our students' educational experience. These initiatives are essential to fulfilling our Kramer Colt Mission. In previous years, PTA-funded enrichment activities have included field trips and other hands-on experiences that have helped bring the curriculum to life. We’re grateful to the community for making these programs possible!
STEAM enrichment offers students the opportunity to engage in experiential learning—whether through field trips or on-campus activities. These experiences allow students to see concepts in action and deepen their understanding of what they are learning. They also provide exposure to potential career paths, influencing their aspirations and broadening their future possibilities.
Some of the STEAM programs we hope to bring back include: the Perot Tech Truck, DMA, Dallas Zoo, the Frontiers of Flight Museum, the Dallas Arboretum, and the %th grade overnight trip.
To make these programs a reality, we’re partnering with the Kramer IB World School PTA to raise $12,000.
Our PTA is a dedicated group of parents who support Kramer’s mission with their time, talents, and resources. We believe that a thriving school community requires the collective effort of everyone—parents, teachers, and administrators—working together to create an environment where each child can flourish. Your support helps make this possible, and we’re excited for the year ahead!
