This year we were able to award 2 more, $1,000 College Scholarships, to 2 graduating seniors in Irving ISD. 2 other, $1,000 College scholarships were awarded on our behalf, by 2 chamber members.

Through our partnership with the Irving ISD and the Adult Education & Literacy program, we graduated over 85 students last year in the Entrepreneurship program and awarded certificates of completion. We are continuing these classes with IrvingISD and adding a partnership with Northlake College.

Our Needs

IHCC Education Foundation is in need of funding for youth development classes, which are designed to teach high school and college aged students professional and personal leadership skills. Funding would help the Education Foundation give out more scholarships for both youth and adult students as well as provide resources to students in the community. IHCC Education Foundation has also created an annual college fair day for Irving students in Dallas County.

Mission

The Mission of the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation is to provide educational materials, scholarships and mentoring to the Hispanic Community. The IHCC Education Foundation is dedicated to charitable, scientific, educational and social purposes, including raising funds for student scholarships, organizing meetings or informational seminars, and providing other resources for youth and adult students.
