Over the years we have had the privilege to serve many friends and neighbors in the North Texas area. Through this experience we have seen a great need around us, we have met many single mothers, widows, and families that experience tremendous hardship and even sometimes hopelessness when faced with an emergency repair or the sudden loss of a vehicle. Helping Hands was born out of the desire to help these families not to have to make a choice between the necessities of life such as rent, groceries, or utilities over a car repair. Safe and reliable transportation is the key to maintaining financial independence. Our goal is to give families the keys to drive their future.

Our Needs

We are currently in need of monetary donations that will enable us to provide automotive repairs and refurbished vehicles free of charge to families in need. We use the funding we receive from our donors to purchase parts and materials, as well as cover the cost of title transfers and temporary tag fees, and fuel for donated vehicles.

There is also a need for vehicles to be donated that are in working condition that could use a little TLC. We provide the gift of transportation. We cover it all, we repair the vehicles, clean them and fill them with fuel, as well as provide the necessary paperwork to register the vehicle once the 30 tag expires. We also offer support to our clients with the vehicle as needs arise.
