We invite you to help us provide Brave Boxes to families. Brave Boxes are gift packages that we gift to families that have a child affected by childhood cancer.
Our average Brave Box ranges in value from $100 - $300. At Christmas, our Brave Boxes range from $500 - $1,000. We are raising $10,000 to serve our families.
This will go towards providing Brave Boxes to our families. We know that the whole family affects the entire family so we serve the siblings and parents of the kids that have or had cancer.
Our goal is to gift 425 Brave Boxes in 2025. As of August 2025. See our update:
Our Mission
Brave Like Ellie is a nonprofit organization that serves families affected by childhood cancer at any stage of their journey. We provide families with Brave Boxes that include toys, activities, and hand-selected items to show Love to these families.
ENCOURAGE BRAVERY. INSPIRE JOY. PROVIDE COMFORT.
Beyond Our Mission
We want to provide connections with others who have the same or similar missions to bring awareness to these illnesses and how the children and families are impacted by these illnesses, while providing opportunities for us to live out our mission and bringing joy at any stage in their journey.
We customize each Brave Box we provide so that it is most meaningful to each person who receives it. We know that the family is impacted by a cancer diagnosis and so we support the family with Brave Boxes. Whether it be the Mom, Dad, or siblings, we aim to show Love to each family member through Brave Boxes.
A donation of $100 provides a Mini Brave Box.
A donation of $150 provides a Small Brave Box.
A donation of $250 provides a Medium Brave Box.
A donation of $300 provides a Large Brave Box.
A donation of any amount will begin building a Brave Box and we are so thankful for our Warrior Squad.
Our Needs

We know that a cancer diagnosis for your child can be quite overwhelming and we seek to lift the family up by providing for both needs and wants through their Brave Boxes. We believe this will allow the family to experience Joy and allow them to focus on caring for their families' needs.
We are looking to grow our volunteer team and have various options, both virtual and in-person.
