$5,000 Goal

Boot Campaign began when average Americans chose to outwardly express their gratitude for active duty service members, veterans and their families by lacing up one of the most visible signs of military service: combat boots. Our efforts have only been made possible by patriots from coast to coast who heard our mission, believed in it and took the next step to help us spread it amongst their friends, families and colleagues.

Boot Campaign’s efforts to encourage anyone and everyone to lace up a pair of combat boots to stand in support and solidarity for veterans and military families has grown and created a movement known as #LaceUpAmerica. Accompanying Boot Campaign’s #LaceUpAMERICA initiative, our #YOUMATTER campaign is an ongoing movement committed to ensuring that our nation’s veterans know that their lives, sacrifices and service matters. These two campaigns help support veterans and active duty military families through our direct service programs - Boot Campaign’s Health & Wellness and Boot Campaign’s Santa Boots.

Our individualized programs are designed to show gratitude to our nation’s veterans, provide high-touch, customized care to treat the root cause of invisible wounds of war, such as posttraumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, self-medication and insomnia, and brighten the holiday season for their families. In 2021 our programs impacted 1,113 veterans and military families from 43 states - at no cost to the veteran or their family.

Boot Campaign is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and was selected as one of 36 national veteran and military service nonprofits that meet the 20 stringent standards. We have a 100 rating on Charity Navigator, maintain a Platinum rating from GuideStar, and have been named one of the nation's Great Nonprofits. We're proud to say that 88 cents of every dollar donated in 2021 went directly to veteran and military families.

Mission

At Boot Campaign, our mission is to unite Americans to honor and restore the lives of veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving programs. #LaceUpAMERICA

Needs

Veterans and their families' needs are increasing as Boot Campaign has seen more than a 125% increase in applications annually for our Health & Wellness Program. We have expanded our Health & Wellness protocols to include virtual services while continuing to provide holistic methods of care.

Our Santa Boots program is growing with more military families to serve every year and anticipates a heightened need due to the long term impacts of COVID-19. In 2022, our goal is to serve 150 families.
