During a moment in our history where nutrition safety net programs are challenged like never before, more families are turning to 4Saints for help. We now serve over 4,500 people each month, providing not only food—but a critical lifeline.

Hunger is only part of the story—food insecurity is a major driver of poor health outcomes and chronic disease. The communities we serve aren’t just struggling to eat—they’re facing a growing public health crisis.

In East Fort Worth, rates of diabetes, hypertension, and diet-related illness far outpace county and state averages. These conditions are deeply connected to poverty, limited access to fresh food, and barriers to preventive care on the eastside. If left unaddressed, they contribute to avoidable hospitalizations, missed work, and long-term health decline.

At 4Saints, we believe food is more than a basic need—it’s a foundation for health, dignity, and long-term wellness.

💛 Our Mission:

To serve with dignity and humility the nutritional needs of our neighbors—

We don’t just provide food. We work to address the social determinants of health that drive poor outcomes and generational inequality in East Fort Worth:

🔸 Limited access to nutritious food

🔸 Economic instability

🔸 Chronic disease

🔸 Gaps in primary and preventive healthcare access

🥦 New in 2025:

F.I.T. 4 Eastside, our Food as Integrated Treatment (F.I.T.) initiative, brings together food and healthcare to address the chronic conditions that disproportionately affect our East Fort Worth neighbors. With the support of an on-site mobile health clinic, clients receive no-cost screenings for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and more—along with referrals to follow-up care services through our healthcare partner.

Further, we at 4Saints modify our food distribution services to align with a person’s health status—offering nutrient-rich, condition-specific foods that support the management of diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Clients also have access to health education, including cooking demonstrations, chronic disease self-management tools, and guidance to help them live healthier lives.

Your support fuels this entire system—ensuring that a visit to 4Saints is not just about receiving food, but gaining the tools, knowledge, and access needed to live a longer, healthier life.
