Our mission is to eradicate Ewing sarcoma. We remain vigilant to the needs of suffering adolescents and their families. We provide university scholarships for students who have battled, or continue to battle, the disease. We fund promising Ewing's research. Our commitment is to empower young cancer survivors and warriors in varying stages of their journeys through inspiration, education, and eradication.
1) Fund promising Ewing sarcoma research with the help of our Medical Advisory Board. Since 2012, we have awarded more than $600,000 to pre-clinical research. Our largest grant of $250,000, was awarded in December of 2016 and established a formal Ewing Sarcoma Research Program at UT Southwestern led by Dr. James Amatruda.
2) Award college scholarships to Ewing sarcoma survivors and warriors. To date, the program has awarded nearly 200 scholarships totaling more than $500,000.
3) Support families with a child in treatment and support all teens fighting any cancer through our Anna's Closet program. We have provided monetary support and/or spirit lifting packages for more than 150 Ewing sarcoma warriors. Our Anna's Closet Program is offered in 20 children's hospitals - 10 of which are in Texas.
