Weatherford Whiskers

Hello! My name is Zaira, and I have had the privilege of volunteering with Weatherford Whiskers since 2021. I'm reaching out to you today to share our mission and humbly request your support and donation for our cause.

Weatherford Whiskers is a dedicated, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue group. Our primary mission is to rescue high-risk cats from our community and local shelters, providing them with a second chance at life and a loving forever home. Our efforts go beyond mere rescue; we aim to transform the lives of these cats through a comprehensive process.

Once rescued, these cats find refuge in experienced foster homes, where they receive the love and care they deserve. Our compassionate volunteers socialize them, preparing them for family life and ensuring they have the opportunity to flourish. Every cat in our care receives top-notch veterinary attention, including vaccinations and spaying/neutering, to ensure their health and well-being.

Weatherford Whiskers take pride in commitment to the welfare of all cats, including feral ones. Our highly trained volunteers are equipped to assist with Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return (TNVR) programs, ensuring that even feral cats can lead healthier lives within their colonies.
