Hi my name is Jennifer Bland,

Here is a brief story of why I am helping Cumberland Youth and Family Services with their 2022 North Texas giving campaign. You may not know this, but for over 90 years Cumberland has been serving the most vulnerable Children, Youth, and Families in North Texas. 58% of their funding comes from donations and now more than ever they need our help.  At Cumberland Youth and Family Services, we work hard to provide care and support that improves the quality of life for youth in foster care, young adults aging out of care and resilient single-parent families. Each program is designed to address residents’ specific needs based on the circumstances that brought them to us, the level of care and support that serves them best, their goals and progress.  In addition to housing and caring for foster youth and vulnerable families, Cumberland also provides reduced cost counseling for community members with little or no insurance.
