All year around NTCR rescues cats from high kill shelters or off the streets. Some are in poor health or wounded. With Veterinary care skyrocketing we are relying more and more on the generosity from the public to help us help them.
2023 has been so far a very hard year for cats ending in overcrowded shelters or simply dumped on the streets to fend for themselves by people who don't want them anymore or are moving and can't take them to the new place or had a baby recently and don't have time to care for them. We have had plenty of surrendered cats for so many reasons.
NTCR has tried its hardest to take in those unwanted cats and care for them. We have a few hospice cats in foster care that require insulin or thyroid med and we have been helping TNR neighborhood cats.
