The “I Have A Dream” Foundation of Dallas believes every child deserves the support and opportunities to succeed in school and beyond. From the moment students join our program, we provide consistent mentorship, academic support, enrichment experiences that broaden horizons, and a scholarship to help them pursue higher education.
Our Dream Scholars gain confidence, explore new opportunities, and grow through hands-on experiences, group activities, and leadership opportunities within the program. They learn the value of helping others and supporting their peers, building leadership and teamwork skills within the program.
Dream Scholars develop life skills, gain confidence, and prepare for the future. For nearly four decades, IHDF Dallas has been a steady source of encouragement and opportunity, helping young people see what’s possible and pursue it with confidence.
The mission of the “I Have A Dream” Foundation - Dallas is to empower children from under-resourced communities to succeed in school, college, and career by providing academic, social, and emotional support from elementary school through college, along with postsecondary tuition assistance.
Dream Scholars face challenges that go beyond academics. Many need additional support to strengthen learning, build social-emotional skills, and access enrichment experiences that broaden their horizons. IHDF Dallas relies on the support of our community to provide Dream Scholars with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. We are seeking:
In-Kind Supporters to contribute school supplies, books, event tickets, meals, technology, or other resources.
Program Partners to provide enrichment and academic opportunities in arts, music, STEM, literacy, social-emotional learning, and wellness.
Resource Referral Partners to connect families with housing, food, healthcare, financial counseling, and other essential services.
Donors and Employee Match Programs to sustain daily operations, scholarships, and future opportunities.
Innovation & Skill-Building Partners to offer workshops, certifications, and hands-on learning experiences.
Civic & Community Partners to provide volunteer opportunities that help Dream Scholars grow and serve others.
Fundraisers to organize creative events that raise awareness and support our mission.
Every contribution, big or small, helps Dream Scholars succeed and take full advantage of our programs.
