Frisco Family Services
For over 30 years, Frisco Family Services (FFS) has been a cornerstone of compassion and support in our community. We demonstrate care and support while helping families maintain their dignity as they navigate through difficult life situations.
Through emergency financial assistance, access to nutritious food and other essentials, seasonal programs, and adult life skills classes, FFS provides critical resources to those facing tough choices—between keeping food on the table, maintaining utility services, or staying in their homes. Our FFS Market, the only community-based food source in Frisco, offers individuals, families, and seniors the opportunity to shop for groceries at no cost. With options for in-person shopping, convenient on-line ordering through Market Express, and our Mobile Market home-delivery service for the homebound, we ensure that all our clients can access the support they need with dignity.
During the 2024-2025 fiscal year (July 2024 through June 2025), Frisco Family Services assisted more than 3,850 individuals, distributed more than 724,000 meals and provided nearly $2 million in annual program support. The increased client need for assistance is attributed to the rapidly growing Frisco population and nearby communities. Additional contributing factors for increased need is inflation, including the cost of food and gasoline, along with rent and mortgage increases and lingering post-pandemic-related effects.
Frisco Family Services helps members of our Frisco and Frisco ISD communities who are facing hunger, homelessness, and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency.
