About Engage Hope Ministries

Engage Hope Ministries is a nonprofit Christian ministry dedicated to transforming lives in Uganda through the power of God's love. Founded in 2010 after a mission trip revealed a vulnerable population devastated by war and the AIDS epidemic, Engage Hope now partners with ten Ministry Partners in Uganda providing Christian education, clean water, food, housing, medical care, and vocational training. We believe that meeting the physical needs of those we serve opens the door to minister to them spiritually. Every program or ministry we support, and every resource God provides, is used for one purpose: to share the gospel in that community and make disciples for Jesus Christ. 

North Texas Giving Day Goal

This North Texas Giving Day (NTGD), we're asking you to give to the Engage Hope General Fund, which allows us to respond immediately wherever the need is greatest. A gift to the General Fund isn't earmarked for one program; it goes wherever God is moving that month, whether that's:

• Responding to a medical or nutrition crises 
• Supporting teacher salaries, clean water access, or vocational training
• Meeting urgent, unplanned needs on the ground in Uganda
• Bridging the gap for children in our Sponsor-a-Child program

Here's how far your dollars can go:

 

$25	Shoes and a backpack for one child
$100	School supplies for a child for an entire year
$200	Feeds 10 children for one month
$750	Provides salary for 5 teachers for one month

Ways to Give

Communities Foundation of Texas covers all transaction and technology fees for North Texas Giving Day. This means that 100% of every NTGD online gift goes directly to Engage Hope Ministries!

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

Participating in North Texas Giving Day as a fundholder is simple and impactful! There is no fee to make a grant from a donor-advised fund (DAF) housed at Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) or one of their partner foundations.

• CFT Fundholders - recommend grants through your Fundholder Portal or by contacting your portfolio manager directly
• Partner Foundation Fundholders - if your DAF is with one of CFT's partner foundations, please reach out to your portfolio manager to make a grant to Engage Hope Ministries
