Our organization continues to impact the community with its educational programs for youth and the community. Our Science With Attitude, SWAt program, recently was awarded an international award for its work with youth and teachers in the North Texas community. Denton County Master Gardeners was also recently awarded for our programs in Denton County with a First Place Award awarded by Keep Texas Beautiful.
Our Needs
We are raising funding to support the growing number of classes needed for youth programs in SWAt and Junior Master Gardeners.
Mission
Denton County Master Gardener Association educates and engages county residents in the implementation of research-based horticultural and environmental practices that create sustainable gardens, landscapes, and communities.
