The American Harp Society promotes opportunities for cultivating the appreciation for harp music, encouraging youth education, building community among harpists, and engaging our membership and the public through our annual events, competitions, masterclasses, workshops and concerts.
AHS in Dallas celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023! Your generous support of our organization will ensure that we can continue to provide quality programming for many years to come. We honor our legacy and seek to empower the next generation of harpists by presenting world class guest artists, educational and enrichment opportunities for harpists of all ages, and outstanding concerts in partnership with incredible local venues. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
Through education and awareness, the American Harp Society in Dallas nurtures talent and creativity; promotes the harp among all harpists and the general public; awards grants and scholarships with organized competitions; provides encouragement to composers and arrangers to write for the harp; and seeks a close working relationship with accredited schools and music faculties to promote study of the harp.
